Flitch Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Lake District National Park. The Eden Valley, Yorkshire Dales and Hadrians Wall are also within easy touring distance.
Some of the finest facilities in the area are at hand for the canoeist, mountaineer, angler, cyclist or sightseer.

Flitch cottage is centrally heated for 9 hours per day from September to May. Electric heaters are also provided for your comfort. A drying room is always available for wet outdoor clothing.

Table tennis is available in one of the barns which form the courtyard. There is a walled garden, available for guests to relax in and space for off road car parking.
